Cross Eyes sets up shop in former ‘Irish Times’ building

Danish optician takes 10-year lease on two floors of renovated building on D’Olier Street


A new-style optician is about to make an appearance in a retail unit at the former Irish Times building on D'Olier Street in Dublin. Danish company Cross Eyes has taken a 10-year lease on more than 100sq m (1,077sq ft) on the ground and mezzanine levels at an annual rent of €30,000. It will join a number of high-profile traders including Benefit Cosmetics, House of Colour and Medley.

Fiona Kennedy of CBRE is seeking tenants for three remaining units, which range in size from 144 to 380sq m (1,550sq ft-4,100sq ft).
