Boots to open at Bridgewater

International retailer Boots are to open a new outlet in the former Hickeys Chemist store at Bridgewater Shopping Centre in Arklow, Co Wicklow.The new trader will pay a rent of €285,000 for 353sq m (3,800sq ft) on the main mall under a new 10-year lease.

Bridgewter opened in 2007 and has over 2,322sq m (250,000sq ft) as well as a nine-screen Cineplex and a 900-space car park. The centre is anchored by Dunnes, TK Maxx, Next and New Look.

Declan Stone of Colliers International acted for the landlord, while Stephen Murray of JLL advised Boots.
