Ballykisteen hotel and golf resort teed up at knockdown price of €2m

Another highly rated provincial hotel and golf course is to be offered for sale at a fraction of its previous value.

John Hughes of CBRE is guiding in excess of €2 million for the Ballykisteen Hotel and Golf Resort opposite Limerick Junction Racecourse in Co Tipperary.

The four-star business is located on the busy Limerick to Waterford road within 6km of Tipperary town, 30 minutes’ drive from Limerick city and an hour’s journey from Cork city.

Family breaks The hotel and golf course, located on 114 acres in a rich farming hinterland, attracts business from a wide area and is particularly well known as a wedding venue. It was also voted among the top 10

resorts for family breaks and is conveniently located within 2km of Limerick Junction railway station.

Ballykisteen has 40 bedrooms and suites, many of them with balconies overlooking the Des Smyth golf course. The reception area includes the Junction One bar and separate restaurant and the Barna Room, a boardroom style meeting room.
