The site of 0.38 of an acre is clear of all buildings and fuel tanks. It is on the eastern side of Churchtown Road, one property away from the intersection with Lower Churchtown Road. There is a planning permission from An Bord Pleanála for a medical centre of 1,092sq m (11,754sq ft) and 26 parking spaces. A new owner might hope to get planning permission for up to five houses on site.

CBRE has secured about €600,000 for a detached house and an adjoining site with planning for five houses at Castle Park Road, Sandycove. The permission also envisages that Linden Lodge will be refurbished.
