€475,000 for vacant creche at Grand Canal Square

A large creche which has been vacant since it was completed in 2007 at Grand Canal Square in Dublin’s south docklands is to be offered for sale by tender on April 2nd.

Shane Cahir of CBRE is inviting offers of more than €475,000 for the ground-floor facility in shell and core condition which extends to 593sq m (6,387 sq ft).

There is also a dedicated outdoor area of 72.89 sq m (784 sq ft) and two car- parking spaces.

The creche is on Hanover Quay with dual frontage on to Asgard Road and Horse Fair Street in a new commercial and residential area.

Adjoining developments include the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, the Marker Hotel and office blocks occupied or about to be used by blue-chip tenants including HSBC, McCann FitzGerald, State Street and Facebook.
