Record results achieved by the Charles Hurst car dealership in Northern Ireland played a significant part in limiting a profit setback at Lookers, the British motor dealer chaired by Mr Craig McKinney, where Woodchester GE holds a 29.9 per cent stake. Group pre-tax profits slipped £400,000 sterling (#570,369) to £8.6 million (#12.3 million) in the year to the end of September on turnover down £22 million at £584 million (#832.7 million).
