Following a recent article, Tennents Ireland has asked us to clarify that their share of the on-trade premium ale market in Britain - which is much larger than the Irish market - is 14.5 per cent.

Tennents says that sales of Caffreys have levelled off because the cream dispenser originally developed for the brand is now being used by mainstream competing brands in the premium ale sector. In Ireland sales are rising strongly.
