The European Commission will block Bombardier's $725 million acquisition of DaimlerChrysler's rail systems unit Adtranz because of antitrust concerns, German weekly magazine Focus reported. Focus said Bombardier had offered to cut train and railcar capacity to address the Commission's antitrust concerns.
