I-CONTROL, which trades as Icon Software, has received an investment of £250,000 (€317,662) from the Davy Technology BES Fund, a fund set up by Davy Stockbrokers and BDO Simpson Xavier enabling individuals to invest in the Irish technology sector.

I-Control produces a point-of-sale and management system for the hospitality sector. It will use the investment to increase research and development and hire staff in the new year.
