Baltimore Technologies has opened a new office in Dubai to be its headquarters for expansion into the Middle East.

The company said that Dubai was a strategic gateway for the Middle East, with government and enterprises being amongst the leading adopters of e-business practices.

As part of its expansion plans for the Middle East, Baltimore has entered a partnership with ComTrust, the e-commerce business unit of the national telecommunication company of the United Arab Emirates, Etisalat.

This agreement was formed in association with HewlettPackard.
