Baltimore Technologies has launched one of the world's first e-security solutions for the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system.

Baltimore's solution supports all Windows 2000 desktop security features without the use of any additional client software. This will enable customers around the world to architect a secure enterprise infrastructure in a Windows 2000 environment using Baltimore's digital certificates to authenticate users, according to the company.
