Shares in Apple Computer fell to their lowest levels in a year yesterday, a day after the computer maker warned that slow holiday sales would lead to its first quarterly operating loss in three years. The company employs around 1,000 people in Ireland.

Apple's shares fell $2-3/8, or 14 per cent, to $14-5/8, the lowest level in more than a year, and were among the most active issues on Nasdaq.
