Apple developers get together in Kilkenny next month

Úll conference to take place at Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny

Úll, an Apple-focused conference for designers and developers, will be held at Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny next month.

Guest speakers will deliver parallel "feature sessions", in effect turning Úll into an exhibition as much as a conference talk, according to founders Paul Campbell and Dermot Daly.

The thinking, says Campbell, is to take advantage of the great spaces throughout Lyrath, rather than keeping all attendees within the confines of the convention centre. They also hope to foster a strong sense of community among attendees.

Since its inaugural outing in 2012, Úll has attracted high-profile developers, writers and commentators to Dublin to discuss all things Apple-related.

Speakers this year include designer Jennifer Brook, blogger Jim Dalrymple, software engineer and writer Michael Lopp, autism software specialist Lisa Maree Domican. Apple blogger John Gruber, whose Daring Fireball site is one of the most influential around, will deliver the keynote talk for the third year in a row.

Úll runs at Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny, from April 28th - 30th. Tickets cost €793.35 and are available from 2014.ull.ie
