Aspiring entrepreneurs set their sights on start-up success

The second of the AIB Start-up Academy events was held in The Cornstore on Wednesday, April 30th, in Cork. The academy is a joint venture between The Irish Times and AIB to help people start business by providing information, networking opportunities and the chance to win a place on an intensive training course run by Irish Times Training.

These nights are the first stage in the process and connect aspiring entrepreneurs with like-minded people and the wider start-up community. The event featured talks from Sean O’Sullivan of SOS Ventures and Graham Clarke of Kooky Dough, as well as “pitches” by three start-ups: Writing for Tiny, Teamwork.com and Organic Little One.
