AIB yesterday initiated an annual £15,000 award for artists who either live in, or were born in, Ireland. "The AIB Prize", aims to identify Irish visual artists of outstanding promise and assist them in their careers, AIB said. The award also covers the cost of an exhibition and a catalogue and a residency at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Mayo.
