Imagine never having another “I have nothing to wear” moment, and instead having a wardrobe of clothes that were made to fit you from head to toe.

That's what the Electroloom could offer. The device "prints" clothes from moulds designed with CAD drawings, so you get a seamless garment that's made to your specifications. You simply design the mould, have it made and place it inside the Electroloom, which gets printing your design in 3D fabric. Once your garment is finished, you can take it off the mould – no seams, no sewing, no hassle.

Of course, the idea is not that you’ll have a personal wardrobe of made-to-measure jeans and shirts, but to open up fashion design to everyone. The Electroloom is still a project in its infancy but is one we’ll be watching closely.
