ABN Amro's head of equity sales in Ireland, Mr Joe Gill (below right), has been promoted to a new position of head of equity research marketing - panEurope - where he will be responsible for co-ordinating ABN Amro's equity research marketing across the bank's international network. Mr Gill will be based in London where he will also set up a marketing function for European companies with ABN Amro's institutional clients.

Mr Gill will be succeeded as head of ABN Amro's equity sales in Dublin by Mr Liam Boggan. Mr Boggan has held senior equity sales positions in both Dublin and London since 1994, having previously worked as a fund manager in the Irish market.
