Healthcare logistics specialist Kuehne+Nagel is returning as title sponsor of the Pharma Industry Awards 2025 programme, which will culminate with an awards ceremony at Dublin Royal Convention Centre on Thursday, November 20th, 2025.
Established in 2014, the Pharma Industry Awards recognise and celebrate the most original and innovative individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence in the Irish pharma industry. Last year’s awards ceremony attracted over 530 industry professionals, highlighting its significance in the pharmaceutical calendar.

The Pharma Industry Awards cater for entrants ranging from researchers and marketing strategists to process and formulation engineers, and from campus start-ups to the biggest players in the sector. The awards also recognise achievements by companies that develop therapeutics and drugs, CROs, plant production designers, and engineers.
The 2024 award winners included Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Takeda, Sanofi, Viatris, AbbVie, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Sanofi, Biostór Ireland, Deciphex, SSPC Partnerships, and Camida.
There are more than 90 pharmaceutical companies located throughout the country, employing around 50,000 people, with c.30,000 of those workers employed by US companies. Over half the workforce are university graduates.
The sector encompasses traditional active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products, as well as innovative biotechnology and advanced therapeutics including cell and gene therapy. Ireland is the largest net exporter of pharmaceuticals in the EU, accounting for over 50 per cent of all exports from the country.
