Pendulum 2023: fuelling peak performance and holistic wellbeing

Pendulum Summit, the world’s No 1 leadership and self-empowerment summit returns to The Convention Centre Dublin on January 25th and 26th, 2023

The team behind the world’s No.1 leadership and self-empowerment summit is excited to announce the full return of Pendulum 2023 to The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) on January 25th and 26th, 2023 after more than three years absence when the conference industry was decimated by Covid-19, creating unforeseen challenges for conferences around the globe.

Since March 2020, Pendulum has hosted two summits, Pendulum Virtual, a fully online experience during the midst of the pandemic, and Pendulum Unbreakable, Pendulum’s first hybrid event, in Dublin in April of 2022. “Our Summit in April was a great initial step to returning to in-person, but 2023 is on track to be our first full return since before the pandemic,” says CEO Frankie Sheahan.

This year’s summit embraces the theme of Fuelling Peak Performance and Holistic Wellbeing, covering key areas including Mental Resilience, High Performance, Purpose & Passion, Relationships, and Leadership, offering delegates an inclusive and unique experience.

In other recent news, Pendulum announced its new partnership with No. 1 job site in the world, Indeed. “We’re exceptionally excited to see what new opportunities and doors this partnership opens for both Indeed and Pendulum,” says Sheahan.

Speaking on the announcement of Indeed as partner of the Pendulum Summit, Conor Byrne, senior marketing director at Indeed, commented: “We’re delighted to partner with Pendulum Summit for what is sure to be an enthralling event in 2023 and beyond. At Indeed, we’ve been long-term admirers of the Pendulum Summit and the hugely positive uplift it provides delegates. Facilitating the growth and wellbeing of working professionals and jobseekers is part of Indeed’s core values so this year’s theme of Peak Performance and Holistic Wellbeing is a perfect fit for our brand.

We’re also proud to have Indeed’s own senior vice president of Environmental, Social & Governance, LaFawn Davis, confirmed to speak at Pendulum Summit. LaFawn has been named among Fortune’s Most Powerful Women and will speak about Workplace Wellbeing which is central to Indeed’s talent strategy. As partner, we look forward to helping welcome some of the world’s top speakers and thought leaders in the space of leadership and self-empowerment.”

Pendulum 2023 offers delegates a litany of headline speakers, including Damian Browne, the Galway native who made history by becoming the first man to row across the Atlantic from New York City to Galway. Damien will be joined by Special Forces Veteran and Elite Performance Expert Ant Middleton, and four times Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Johnson at The CCD.

Pendulum 2023 will host some of the world’s leading women in business and sport, including the fastest female F1 Driver, Susie Wolff. Wolff made history at the 2014 British Grand Prix by becoming the first woman to take part in a Formula 1 race weekend in 22 years. Other top female speakers include Former RAF fighter pilot and expert in strategic leadership, Mandy Hickson; global specialist in rapid transformation therapy Marisa Peer; and iconic businesswoman Breege O’Donoghue, who spearheaded Primark’s entry into the US market.

Pendulum 2023 is introducing a brand new aspect of the Summit: Pendulum Talks. These 12-15 minute explosive, short, powerful talks will cover a myriad of topics from notable, world-class Irish speakers including:

● Philly McMahon - Dublin senior footballer, mental health and resilience speaker

● Conor Pope - journalist, broadcaster, author, consumer affairs and personal finance expert

● Lisa Fallon - FIFA high performance, former Galway United head coach and strategy specialist

To accommodate viewership and delegates across the globe, over 7,000 delegates are set to attend the Summit both in-person and over livestream. To accommodate viewers across the globe, Pendulum offers livestream options and full company/group licences.

“The level of delegates and companies attending is sensational,” says Sheahan. “Whether you’re a CEO, an entrepreneur, an invited client or an ambitious individual, our speakers are ready to impart their wisdom from years of industry and life experience to an eager audience.

“I’m ecstatic to announce the return of Pendulum to The CCD. After several challenging years, we can’t wait to bring everyone together to celebrate the best of the best in Ireland and beyond. We’re excited to introduce a fantastic new section of the Summit, Pendulum Talks, where we’re placing significant emphasis on highlighting Irish stories from our own world-class speakers who hail from across Ireland.”
