Dublin Bus might not have played their best game, but they did score the first three points when they met Clondalkin in their recent Leinster Junior League, Division Four rugby match at Gordon Park, Kingswood. The problem was Clondalkin replied with a 145-point deluge to win the game 145-3. Dave Cowan snatched 50 points in the game, with Eamon Stapleton grabbing five tries. Clondalkin averaged almost two points a minute.

While they are storming through the league, can there be any satisfaction for Clondalkin? They have averaged 45-plus points a match in their last three outings and have scored a total of over 350 points in four games. Their next clash is against Stillorgan in the Spencer Cup and comes with a health warning.
