Stephane Ougier

Stephane Ougier

Age: 32. Height: 6ft 3ins. Weight: 14st 7lbs. French international, though not of recent vintage. Good place-kicker and a strong counter-attacking runner. Recently recovered from injury.

Emile N'Tamack

Age: 29. Height: 6ft 2in. Weight: 14st 2lbs. Brilliant French international equally at home at wing, centre or full back. Huge attacking threat but not as composed as a defender. Deny him space or suffer catastrophic consequences. Great balance, pace, vision.

Cedric Desbrosse

Age: 28. Height: 6ft 3in. Weight: 13st 5lbs. The man who could not contain Brian O'Driscoll in Stade de France during Ireland's famous victory. Powerful centre who enjoys a physical clash. International class nonetheless.

Lee Stensness

Age: 29. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 14st 2lbs. Former All Black who won eight caps - he scored three tries - for his country before moving to France. Very physically strong centre and the team's midfield playmaker.

Michel Marfaing

Age: 30. Height: 6ft. Weight: 13st 3lbs. Clinical finisher who can also play outhalf or in the centre. Has scored 16 tries for Toulouse in European competition and is also an accomplished place-kicker. Former French international.

Alain Penaud

Age: 30. Height: 6ft 1in. Weight: 14st 2lbs. Joined the club after a season in the Allied Dunbar Premiership with Saracens and before that was with Brive. Decent drop goal exponent, can control the game through the boot or bring his three quarters into play. Another international.

Jerome Cazalbou

Age: 31. Height: 5ft 9in. Weight: 11st 11lbs. French international now in the twilight years of his career. Composed, mature, reader of he game, always looking for an opportunity to snipe. Good passer who likes to link with his forwards.

Christian Califano

Age: 26. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 16st 7lbs. Once regarded as the oustanding loosehead prop in world rugby. Sent off against Fiji in the World Cup he returned to reclaim his place during the recent Six Nations Championship. Good scrummager, great around the pitch.

Yannick Bru

Age: 26. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 14st 13lbs. Combative hooker whose forte is his speed around the pitch. One of the few non internationals in the Toulouse side and keeping William Servat out of the team.

Franck Tournaire

Age: 27. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 16st 3lbs. A punishing scrummager, the self-styled bad boy of French rugby is not adverse to resorting to the darker side of his profession. Was singled out by the All Blacks after World Cup semi-final, gouging being the topic of conversation. Very good player.

Fabien Pelous

Age: 26. Height: 6ft 2in. Weight: 15st 2lbs. Captained France in this season's Six Nations. Keith Wood and those who saw it will recall the tackle that stopped the Irish hooker dead. Great, wholehearted player who brings every attribute required to the game.

Franck Belot

Age: 28. Height: 6ft 4in. Weight: 16st 10lbs. The team captain who won his first and only cap against Ireland in this season's Six Nations Championship. Not a very auspicious debut and Munster will be hoping that his unfortunate record against Irish sides continues.

Didier Lacroix

Age: 30. Height: 5ft 11in. Weight: 14st 2lbs. Had an outstanding game against Montferrand in his team's quarter-final victory, an integral part of a back row which kept the great Olivier Magne in check.

Sylvain Dispagne

Age: 32. Height: 6ft 5'. Weight: 16st 5lbs. Won the second of his two caps in 1996, but has been a great servant to Stade Toulousain either at flanker, second row or now at number eight. Powerful ball carrier, his contest with Anthony Foley could be pivotal to the outcome.

Christian Labit

Age: 29. Height: 6ft 2in. Weight: 15st 10lbs. Won the most recent of his four caps against Western Samoa in the summer of 1999. A key player in the Toulouse back row, he is known for his authoritative tackling on the fringes.
