Prior to yesterday's match at Donnybrook, Cistercian College Roscrea unveiled ambitious plans for an 18-day tour of South Africa next summer, to take in five games in Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Stellenbosch.
The party will include 30 players and staff, along with 30 supporters (past pupils and parents), in part to celebrate the millennium and the 900th anniversary of the founding of the Cistercian Order.
To raise funds for the tour, the school's rugby development committee has organised a golf outing to Mount Juliet on Friday, October 15th.
