Cork City will be without John O'Flynn for tonight's trip to Longford Town with the striker ruled out of Damien Richardson's starting line-up by a hip injury.

The visitors, though, will be hoping that Denis Behan will maintain his early run of form with the forward having scored against Bray last week and in Monday's Setanta Cup defeat of Shelbourne.

"What I've always liked about Denis is that he can always make an impact when he comes into a game," said Richardson yesterday.

"Some players have that about them and some don't, but Denis certainly has something about him that enables him to do it.

"He is still learning and there is a lot about his game that will improve as he gains experience but with the ball at his feet when he's facing goal, he's already shown himself to be exceptionally dangerous and we have high hopes for him over the course of this season."

Longford, having suffered two defeats in their two competitive outings so far this season, have a string of injury worries ahead of the game.

Alan Matthews is awaiting fitness tests for John Martin, Davy Byrne, Andy Myler, Stephen O'Brien, Dessie Baker and Shane Barrett before deciding on his starting line-up.
