Pike among minnows

The Businessman masterminding proposals for the breakaway European Super League, which hopes to generate an estimated £1.25 billion a year, believes that the project will become a reality within two years. The simple plan is to gather together all the big clubs in Europe and have them play against each other thus generating enormous amounts of money. There is already a premier European competition in place but who cares. And the clubs that don't get invites to the Super League, well who cares ?

Rudulfo Hecht, the president of Media Partners, the company behind the push, is no doubt aptly named. Hecht happens to be the German word for pike. You know, the fish with the big head and jutting lower jaw, the one that lives in ponds and lakes an gobbles up all of the smaller fish.
