On the move?

Just when Spurs fans thought things couldn't get much worse than a 1-1 home draw against Bradford they picked up their Sunday papers to read that George Graham is about to spend £7 million of the club's nonetoo plentiful cash on Wimbledon's John Hartson. No comment, except: `blimey'.

Kenny Cunningham is another Wimbledon player being tipped for a move to North London, this time in the direction of Highbury - the Sunday Mirror reckons Arsene Wenger will make a move for the Irish defender this summer.

Our sources (i.e. TeamTalk) also tell us that Bayern Munich's French left back Bixente Lizarazu will join Liverpool next season, taking his team-mate Markus Babbel with him to Anfield - Leicester's Emile Heskey will be there to welcome both lads, but not Robbie Fowler (he'll be at Leeds by then, having replaced Alan Smith who's joining Juventus for £10 million. Honest).

Real Madrid have finally realised that Steve McManaman only produces a performance of note twice a season so they will try and offload him during the summer. His replacement will be Newcastle's Nolberto Solano, unless of course he joins Manchester United.

Finally, the Sunday tabloids gave Mark Bosnich's brittle self-confidence a boost yesterday, only linking United with seven other goalkeepers - Jerzy Dudek (Feyenoord), Neil Sullivan (Wimbledon), Gianluigi Buffon (Parma), Francesco Toldo (Fiorentina), Sebastian Frey (Inter Milan), Pavel Srnicek (Sheff Wednesday) and Hans Jorge Butt, Nicky's cousin from Hamburg.
