Ulster host the Under-18 Interprovincial tournament at Edenvilla Park, Portadown, this weekend and will hope to make the most of home advantage by winning the Templeton Cup for the first time in three years.

Munster are the defending champions, having coped best with the freezing conditions at Palmerstown last year to win their first title since 1992, ahead of Leinster, Ulster, Connacht and bottom-placed South East.

Munster, who feature two set of twins in their squad, Eimear and Orlaith Curtin and Clare and Jennifer Lawson, meet Leinster, the 1995 champions, in their opening match this morning.

Meanwhile in the Leinster League, Muckross have a chance to further close the gap on Loreto and Hermes at the top of Senior A - they play Genesis tomorrow afternoon, followed by Trinity on Sunday. Loreto face UCD at Belfield tomorrow while Hermes meet Pembroke Wanderers at Serpentine Avenue.
