Last week Swindon youth coach Shaun Reid politely asked his big Sunderland-managing brother Peter if there'd be any chance of a loan of an auld striker because the second division relegation strugglers were desperately in need of an auld goal or two. Peter said "no problem" and lent Swindon former Kilkenny City man Michael Reddy for a month.

Saturday? Reddy scored after three minutes and won a penalty after 13, one that was converted by Dubliner Keith O'Halloran. Swindon won 3-0 (against Bury) and the Reid brothers have never been closer.

A big "Well Done" to Cork City old boy Damien Delaney who made his first start for Leicester City in their 2-1 FA Cup win at Aston Villa and a big "Welcome Back" to Kenny Cunningham who finally overcame his groin problem to make his first appearance of the season for Wimbledon, coming on as a sub in the cup win over Notts County.
