European golfers are tasting an American export this week at San Roque in Spain

European golfers are tasting an American export this week at San Roque in Spain. Mac O'Grady stepped off the course at the European Tour Qualifying School this week and declared that European golfers are foulmouthed, club-throwing, line-stepping, boorish morons. The John McEnroe-soundalike is causing considerable consternation in the usually well-heeled game O'Grady contrived to have an argument with South African partner Nico Van Renesburg at the 11th hole over the player moving while he was about to strike the ball. Naturally, Van Renesburg denies the allegation.

O'Grady is a golfer with a past. Some of his previous exploits include

making allegations of drug-taking amongst other golfers, refusing to pay fines and a $5 million law suit which he once filed against the USPGA Tour. The vocal American decided that the best way to play San Roque was to hit the ball right-handed and putt left-handed.
