GAA: LAOIS hurling gets the chance to ease some of the nightmare of last Saturday's drilling by Cork in the All-Ireland senior qualifiers when facing Wexford in this evening's Leinster under-21 semi-final.

Forward Neil Foyle is one of the Laois seniors named in the team for the trip to Wexford Park, although the home team will start as handsome favourites after their impressive win over Kilkenny in the quarter-final.

Wexford, however, make two enforced changes: Andrew Shore has departed to the US for the summer and John Leacy is out injured, with James Gahan coming in at wing back for Shore, while Leacy is replaced by Rory Sludds at midfield.

WEXFORD(Under-21 hurling v Laois): M Fanning; W Devereux, M O'Hanlon, E Moore; J Gahan, M O'Regan, S Murphy; E Kent, R Sludds; S Tomkins, H Kehoe, L Og McGovern; P Morris, J Breen, P Doran.
