There's quite a bit of competition for the title this week with Kevin Kilbane, Mark Kennedy, Rory Delap and Mickey Evans all high on the list of contenders. Instead, though, we're going to go for young Colin Larkin who made his debut for Wolves this week just a matter of days after the departure of Robbie Keane.

The teenager from Dundalk came on midway through the second half of the club's disastrous Worthington Cup match with Wycombe and made an immediate impact, taking just seven minutes to find the net. Afterwards manager Colin Lee described the youngster's performance as magnificent and promptly threw him in from the start for Saturday's league game against Walsall.

Unfortunately for Larkin, he has yet to be in a winning team but it seems that Lee, having just sold one major Irish star of the future, may have just uncovered another.
