The Leinster badminton team had a superb start to their first Premier A Division campaign in the English Inter-County Championships at the weekend when they beat Lancashire and Worcestershire in their opening matches, before losing narrowly to Yorkshire.
With two more weekends and six matches to come after Christmas Leinster are in third place in the table, just four points behind joint leaders Yorkshire and Essex.
