Dublin University will be hoping that Warren Gatland's Ireland enjoy a flying start to the postponed Six Nations Championship and manage to record victories over Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday and Wales at the Millennium Stadium on October 13th. This would set up a grand slam clash with England at Lansdowne Road.

The English match is to take place on Saturday, October 20th and to mark the occasion, Trinity Rugby Club have organised a corporate lunch. The guest speaker will be former Irish international second row Moss Keane. One would, of course, expect any visit to a university to be of educational merit and this should certainly fulfil that expectation.

Those attending the lunch will be taken to see the Book of Kells (11.30 a.m.) and then to the atrium for drinks (noon). A four-course lunch will then be served in the dining hall with a promise of "wine from the famous Trinity win cellar". Never realised that there was a cottage industry in College Park.

At 2 p.m. patrons will be whisked by coach to Lansdowne road in plenty of time for the 3 p.m. kick-off to the England match. Education costs and this package is no exception: £800 per table of 10.
