All-Ireland semi-final

Dublin Colleges v St Colman's, Fermoy (Clonmel, 3.0) - After coming out of Leinster for the first time since amalgamating seven years ago, Dublin Colleges now get to mix it with the very best. Facing the Dr Harty Cup champions is a daunting prospect, but having beaten St Kieran's of Kilkenny, the All-Ireland champions, the Dublin side won't be short of confidence. But it will take a lot more than that to get past St Colman's.

The All-Ireland champions of 1997 dismissed defending Munster champions St Flannan's of Ennis last month in a highly efficient manner, leading by four points at the break and eventually winning by three. Andrew O'Shaughnessy, the 16-year-old from Limerick, was particularly stunning when scoring 2-5 in total.

O'Shaughnessy will be the obvious target for the Dublin defence but Colm Mac Sealaigh's side does have some potent scoring ability of its own in David O'Callaghan and Stephen Fee. Conal Keaney has also been turning heads at midfield. They have shown continuous improvement, but this could prove a step too far.
