Bell to miss A game

Jonathan Bell is out of the Ireland A team to play the Canadians in Ravenhill on Wednesday night

Jonathan Bell is out of the Ireland A team to play the Canadians in Ravenhill on Wednesday night. The Irish centre completed his first full game for Northampton since August on Saturday but has been deemed "not match-fit enough" according to Irish manager Pat Whelan.

A decision as to his replacement will be made today. Meanwhile, Whelan confirmed that Brian O'Meara's neck injury, sustained against Terenure on Saturday, will not prevent him from taking his place as Ireland's reserve scrum-half for the full international against Canada at Lansdowne Road next Sunday.
