WOMEN'S HOCKEY:With Ireland playing their final two matches against Australia A at Belfield tomorrow and Sunday (both games are at 3pm) there is a reduced Leinster first division programme this weekend, with just three matches scheduled.

Old Alexandra played Trinity, winning 3-1, on Wednesday night, while the Loreto v UCD game has been refixed for November 13th.

Table-toppers Railway Union will attempt to become the first team this season to score against Hermes when the sides meet in Sandymount. Two draws from their four games have Hermes two points adrift of Railway, who are level with Pembroke.

Ireland lost 6-0 to Australia A at Belfield last night in the second of four ties between the teams. A double from Kate Hollywood gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at half-time. Casey Eastham, Hope Munro and Shelly Liddelow made it 5-0 in the second half, Hollywood completing her hat-trick near the end.
