All-Ireland SHC Qualifiers Cork v Dublin

THE QUESTION most Dublin hurling people have been asking this week is "what have we done to deserve this?" Meeting Cork in the qualifiers for the second successive year, and this time it involves the long and intimidating journey to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Cork won 3-20 to 0-15 at Parnell Park last year. There are fears of a similar scoreline here.

Joe Deane is back, one of five changes from the team that lost to Tipperary in last month's Munster semi-final. Eoin Cadogan and Ciarán McGann make their championship debuts in the half-back line in place of the injured Seán Óg Ó hÁilpin (knee) and Ronan Curran (groin). Along with Deane, Niall McCarthy and Neil Ronan are restored to the attack with Pa Cronin and Paudie O'Sullivan losing out.

Dublin manager Tommy Naughton has made two switches from the team that lost the Leinster semi-final replay to Wexford. Stephen Hiney has been switched from full back to right wing back, to the exclusion of Michael Carton. Up front, Declan Qualter comes in for John Kelly.
