Woman held after Dublin stabbing

A woman is in custody following a fatal stabbing this evening in the Dublin suburb of Tallaght.

A man in his 40s was fatally injured in an incident at a house at Páirc Glenn Trasna, Aylesbury, in Tallagh at around 7.20pm.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman in her 30’s has been arrested in relation to the incident, and is being detained at Tallaght Garda Station, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The house has been scealed off for forensic technical examination. The man's body remains at the scene.
