"Vistakon is a flagship manufacturing operation in Ireland and its existing significant economic benefit to the region will increase greatly as a result of today's announcement," he said.

E-commerce group ChannelAdvisor is to establish its European support centre in Limerick, creating 15 positions.

Mr Martin said ChannelVisor was a significant addition to the base of digital media companies choosing

Ireland to set up highly sophisticated technological operations. A total of 250 jobs were announced by the Zimmer firm for Shannon last week.
