Stephen O’Meara (26) has been missing from his home at Rosehill, Wicklow for four days.

He was last seen in Wicklow town at 6pm on Thursday evening. Gardaí in Wicklow have called for anyone with information on Mr O’Meara to contact them.

He is described as 188cm tall (6ft 2in), with an athletic build and sandy, receding hair.

When last seen he was wearing black Manchester United tracksuit bottoms, a dark grey tracksuit top, and a white or navy Nike T-shirt with a red line across the chest.

He was also wearing black and white Nike Air Max runners and a thick gold chain. Gardaí spent yesterday searching for Mr O’Meara in woods in the Aughrim area of south Wicklow.

A Garda spokesman said the search was called off last night after dark. It will recommence today. Gardaí have said they are concerned for Mr O’Meara’s safety.
