Online retailer Cdiscount is to create 50 jobs at the company’s new headquarters in Dundalk, it was announced today.
The jobs will be created over the next two years at the IDA Business and Technology Park, Dundalk, Co. Louth, where CDiscount has established its new Ireland and UK headquarters.
CDiscount is the online trading division of Groupe Casino of France, one of the world¿s largest retailers with global revenues of over €28.7 billion.
The Dundalk Headquarters will operate as one of two distribution centres for the UK and Ireland and also as the business support and management centre with activities including finance, marketing, supply chain management, and IT.
Dundalk entrepreneur Ciarán O¿Donoghue, chief executive of Cdiscount UK and Ireland, and his brother Niall, have a 25 per cent stake in the operation.
