The PSNI has opened a murder investigation into the death of a 53-year-old woman whose body was found in a house in the Huntingdale area of Ballyclare, Co Antrim

Pauline Haveron was found dead in the house on Sunday. Police say she had been strangled.

Details of the death were only released today after a postmortem and consultations with the victim's family.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who was in the Doagh Road and Huntingdale areas between 10pm on Saturday and 1am on Sunday.
