A mother and her two-year-old child who had been reported missing have been located safe and well, gardaí confirmed today.
Gardaí had earlier issued an appeal to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of Aoife Ni Raghaill (35) and her son Oscar from Bray, Co Wicklow.
While mother and son live at an address at Connolly Square in Bray, they visited friends on Saturday and were dropped to a Luas stop to go into the city centre that evening.
Family members reported them missing when they could not contact Ms Ni Raghaill on Saturday night and Sunday. Her father called gardaí and lodged a missing persons report.
A short time ago, gardaí released a statement confirming the pair had been located safe and well earlier today.
