Gardaí at Mountjoy station, Dublin, are seeking assistance in identifying a man found wandering the streets of the city-centre last Valentine's Day.

The man, who calls himself "Maxmillan", is currently in hospital suffering from memory loss and is unable to identify himself. When found he was wearing a light grey pin-striped Pierre Cardin suit and shirt, a black tie, black slip-on shoes and a gold chain.

The man is in his early 30s, has black hair, blue eyes and a sallow complexion. He weighs around 12 stone, is 5'8" and is of medium build.

When he was discovered he was carrying a small suitcase containing a few items of clothing.

Gardaí believe "Maxmillan" has lived in Ireland for a number of years, but may originally be from South Africa. He is in good physical health apart from memory loss.
