Man shot in ankles and wrists

A man is being treated in hospital following a shooting in West Belfast last night.

Police are investigating in the incident which took place at about 11pm on the Glen Road. The 34-year-old man was shot in the wrists and ankles by a group of men, who then fled the scene.

The man was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
