ICON at the Leopardstown Racecourse will cease trading at the end of January 2001 with the loss of 64 jobs.
In a statement today the company said the decision was taken after visitor numbers fell below targets and added the location of the centre also hindered its growth.
The company now claim the venue has "potential" within the local market, as a bar and restaurant.
