CHRISTMAS STRESS:Darker days and Christmas stress is the theme of a public lecture in the Aware monthly series tomorrow at 7.15pm in the Swift Centre, St Patrick's Hospital, James St, Dublin 8.

PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION:International public speaker and prolific author Dr John Demartini will give a talk on "personal transformation" tomorrow at 7pm in the Hogan Suite in Croke Park, Dublin. Demartini developed a programme known as The Breakthrough Experience which aims to reduce stress, resolve conflict and find new ways of looking at life's challenges. Tickets for the talk are €60. HOME EXERCISE DVD:Exercises for Oldies is a new home exercise DVD developed by semi-retired orthopaedic consultant Dr Hemant Thakore, who demonstrates a series of stretches, encouraging viewers to make it part of their daily routine.
