Gardaí have said they are "very concerned" for the safety of two 18-year-old men who are missing from their homes in Clondalkin, west Dublin.

friend's house in the Clondalkin area at 4.30am, a Garda spokeswoman said.

She said it was "totally out of character" for the men to go missing in the way they did.

When last seen Mr White was wearing blue jeans, navy timberland boots, blue shirt and a light blue stripey top.

He is described as being of slim build with short brown hair and approximately 188cm in height. He has a tattoo of a leprechaun on his upper right arm.

Mr Coughlan was wearing navy Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a striped jumper and a Von Dutch-make zip top.

Anyone with information on either of the men is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 6667600 or Tallaght on 6666000.

Meanwhile, gardaí in Kilkenny are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Arturs Vagalis (36) who has been missing since 4pm on Tuesday last week.

Mr Vagalis was last seen at Walkin Street in the city. He is described as being between 173cm and 183cm in height, of slim build with dark, short hair.

When last seen he was wearing white Adidas runners, light blue jeans and a brown waist length leather jacket. Anyone with information his location is asked to ring Kilkenny station on 056 7775000.
