Gardaí in Dublin are searching for a father and daughter who disappeared in the city on Wednesday and a teenager who has not been seen since Thursday night.

Mr Anthony Babel and his six-year-old daughter, Caroline Kasten, were last seen in Firhouse, Tallaght, shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Mr Babel was driving a silver Mercedes van, registration 99 D 59357.

He was wearing three-quarter length green/brown trousers with a light-coloured shirt and a beige baseball cap. His daughter was wearing white shorts and a pink and white t-shirt with 'No 1' written across the front. Four of her front baby teeth are missing.

Gardaí in Rathfarnham have appealed to Mr Babel to contact them. They have also urged anybody with information as to their whereabouts to come forward immediately.

Ms Claire Boylan (36) from Rathfarnham is also being asked to call gardaí in the south Dublin suburb. She has been missing since March 2nd. She is five feet, four inches tall, has short brown curly hair, green eyes and an oval-shaped face. She walks with a slight stoop.

Meanwhile, Swords gardaí have issued an appeal for assistance in trying to trace 13-year-old Linda Duff who was last seen in the Portrane area at around 8.30 p.m. on Thursday.

She is described as being five feet, five inches tall, with long blond hair, which is normally tied up, and is of stocky build. When last seen, she was wearing red trousers and a grey hooded top. Anyone with information is being asked to call Swords Garda station on (01) 6664700.
