The Sales Institute of Ireland was set up five years ago by Georgina Charleton to address what she saw as a lack of formal sales training and qualifications in Ireland.

The institute now offers a certificate and a diploma in professional selling and both courses are run in association with the Dublin and Cork Institutes of Technology. The courses are part-time and run over one and three years respectively.

The certificate is aimed at those in the early stages of their careers while the diploma is designed for those in senior sales positions. For more information contact Antoinette Kearney at (01) 677 2166 or consult www.salesinstitute.ie
