The Open University has been on the go for 30 years providing well-supported learning programmes to those who want or need to study at their own pace and in their own time. The OU is well used to catering for students of all ages and for those with and without educational track records. Students can study for qualifications in arts, modern languages, social sciences, health and social welfare, education, law, technology, business and management, science, mathematics and computing.

For those returning to learning it is possible to build towards a qualification step by step. The OU has an Irish office based at Holles Street in Dublin (telephone (01) 678 5399 for a prospectus) or details of the courses are on the OU website at www.open.ac.uk. For those specifically interested courses offered by the OU Business School consult www.oubs.open.ac.uk
